About Ecco Adesso Vineyards

Ecco Adesso Vineyards at Skyline Meadows Farm is a family-owned estate winery in Fairfield, VA, nestled perfectly between the Blue Ridge & Appalachian Mountains in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley wine country. Our unique property is just shy of 350 stunning acres encompassing springs, meadows, gardens, vineyards, waterfalls, hiking trails, orchards, creeks, meadows, and protected forests.

Ecco Adesso (“Here Now” in Italian) is not just a phrase or a saying, it is a way of life, and one that the owners (the Weatherly Family) live by. When our guests visit Ecco Adesso, we want them to leave all their troubles at the gate and enjoy their family, friends and all that nature has to offer.

At Ecco Adesso, we hope to inspire our guests to adopt our mindset. We do not think about the troubles from the past, or the worries of the future, we live Ecco…Adesso…Nel Momento – Here…Now…In the Moment.

We encourage you to slow down, enjoy life and come visit us to see what the Ecco Adesso lifestyle is all about.

Ecco Adesso Farm

The Farm

Skyline Meadows offers guests 150 acres of open rolling hills, multiple orchards, Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountain views, 200 acres of hiking trails, springs, lush vegetation with various microclimates, creeks and bubbling waterfalls.

We are home to a non-profit garden that is run by our nation’s Veterans called “Vet First, Inc.” Vet First, a vision of the Weatherly Family, hires Veterans to grow crops to give back locally to other Vets, the homeless, food banks and those without food. 100% of what we grow on site in the garden goes to support our Veterans and those in need. The nonprofit, farm and vineyard all work in perfect symbiosis.

We also partner with local businesses in the Shenandoah Valley to offer our guests complimentary products that are locally farmed and sourced, right here near our home.

Stay tuned because the Weatherly Family has future plans for chickens, baby doll sheep and eventually horses.

Vineyard & Winemaking

Our expansive vineyard spans 20 acres of picturesque terrain, thoughtfully divided into five distinct plots. The first three plots gracefully line the left side of the driveway, enhancing the scenic journey to the european inspired Chateau like farm house amidst rolling hills. The last two plots line the right side of the drive and are nestled behind our fruit orchard and sheep, descending toward our enchanting pavilion, forest and hiking trails.

Our original one acre vineyard established over a decade ago boasts trellis posts reaching for the sky, crafted from weathered train ties, lending a rustic charm to the landscape. Ecco Adesso varietals cultivated in this lush landscape include Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Saperavi, Riesling, Vidal Blanc, Chambourcin, Sauv Kretos, Lagrein, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Petit Manseng and Norton, all set for a bountiful harvest this year. These carefully nurtured grapes are artfully blended to give life to our Ecco Adesso Wines.

In addition to the original one acre vineyard, we have diligently expanded our acreage over the first three years of operation to a grand total of 20. This broader canvas allows us to experiment with new varietals and innovative winemaking methods. As we embark on this vinicultural journey, we are proud to collaborate with local winemaking legends from Shenandoah and our friends in Williamsburg, who share our commitment to prioritizing quality over quantity. Our winemakers seamlessly weave together time-honored traditions with cutting-edge technology and modern winemaking processes, showcasing the true essence of the Shenandoah Valley and Virginia wine in each bottle.

Winery & Tasting Room

Currently, we are working on a future event space and tasting room that will also be used as a farm shop where we plan to sell local products and produce from our farm and other local businesses.

The tasting room, a former residence, is a stone manor house for guests to enjoy with a drawing room, library, terrace, cellar, wine garden and lawn overlooking the vineyards and Blue Ridge Mountains.

We have multiple spaces to enjoy your tasting and provide ease of access for guests of all ages.
